About Andrea Borelli

Andrea Borelli is a gifted and talented artist whose passion for his work is immeasurable. Specializing in Stucco Veneziano - a traditional historical Italian recipe designed to transform ordinary walls into extraordinary works of art. Created to satisfy architects and designers who needed creative solutions for walls, ceilings, columns and decorative features. It can be shiny or matt, translucent or opaque depending on the trowel technique and smoothing process. It allows the designer to play with a whole spectrum of luminescent colours to create an elegant, luxurious look in both classical and contemporary settings. It can be used to create a variety of effects - from a lightly polished surface to a richer, more dramatic marbled or burnished appearance.

Andrea says all his work is about harmony, feelings, precision, passion and that every job is different and only with those four elements can one achieve something positive.

Andrea's work in the last 14 years was in collaboration with his friend, Sandra Jeffrey, an extremely talented and gifted artist from South Africa.

Andrea has spent years in perfecting various unique designs using Stucco Veneziano. Andrea's unique decorative finishes have been used by Australia's leading Interior Designers in various establishments, in private homes, penthouses, hotels, and commercial properties such as the new Star City Casino in Sydney and Bulgari. He is well respected in the decorative arts community for his desire for perfection and his standard of excellence in projects undertaken by him. He continues to develop new and exciting concepts - a statement of passion, personality, and the artist inside him.
